How do you incorporate a table of contents in PBB? I have read the help. and it seems a bit vague.
If you are running the Mac version of Word, then is should work similar as described here in this wiki page http://wiki.logos.com/Adding_TOC_in_PBs
Michael -
First, are you wanting to create a TOC, right after the title page, that you can click on? Or do you just want a TOC that you can access from the side? In the screen shot below, I have the PB I am currently working on. You will notice that the TOC in the main body is NOT hyperlinked, but I do have access to a TOC on the side.
It is much easier to do what I have done. All of the sections you see on the left are "Heading 1" in Word. The ones with little triangles next to them have "Heading 2" and "Heading 3" nested inside of them. The second screen shot shows a "Heading 1" and "Heading 2" from within my document. By using these styles, the TOC was created automatically. NOTE: I created new styles based upon the originals. For example, I named one "PBB Heading 1" and another "PBB Quotes." I have found that it is important to use the original heading's styles to create the new ones.
If you want to create a hyperlinked TOC from within the document itself, you will have to learn the proper syntax. I have not yet ventured into the syntax.
Thanks- exactly what I needed.[:D]

Glad to hear it!
