I deleted the plan, but can't delete it from Outlook except one item at a time; in other words, I have to go to each day and right click and delete each entry. Any help?

At least in Outlook 2010, you can click on Change View in the top left corner, pick List, and then I suspect all the Reading Plan entries will be next to each other. Click the top one, the hold the shift key and pick the bottom one, and delete them all. If they are not contiguous in that view, you can hold down the Control key and click them all, and then delete them all at once.
