PBB: You don't have a license to view this resource, but you could...
I have built a few Personal Books now with the new tool. And, I thought I had read on one thread where it was noted that the resources would not be synced with the Logos servers and/or that that capability may come in the future. So, I did not expect to see Personal Books when I opened L4 on my other computer (other being not the one I created the books on). The Personal Books were listed.
So, I clicked to open one. A window opened that said, "You don't have a license to view this resource, but you could...". Then, a resource ID was listed and a link to Logos.com appeared under that.
Here is the question: If I copy the resource from the computer (from the proper Logos4 directory) that created the resource to the computer that gave this message, will it work? Or, will I need to copy the source documents in .docx format and compile on the computer that is missing the resource? If I compile on this computer, will it create two entries for the same resource in the Personal Books window (one pointing to the originating computer and one for the other computer)?
Currently, the metadata (author, title, etc.) and cover image for your Personal Books will sync between computers.
To make your book available on a second machine simply copy over the .docx file and recompile the book (using the existing entry for that book already present in the PB panel.) You don't need to dig into the L4 files and find the correct .lbspbb file.
A duplicate entry for the same book would be created if you clicked 'Add book' and started over rather than compiling the book using the existing entry with the metadata you used on the other computer.

When doing this - copying a book over and recompiling - its useful to be aware of the issue that Dave flagged at http://community.logos.com/forums/p/36772/276081.aspx

So, does this mean the path info. must match between computers?
The longterm plan is that the actual file will sync between computers right?

The long term plan for Personal Books does not include having to compile the same book on multiple machines.
