recommendations for complete bible commentary set

I am sure there are many opinions but I figure this is a great place to ask. If I am looking for a multivolume set of commentaries on the whole bible what would you recommend? I have seen The Expositor's Bible Commentary being available and I am sure there are more.

My background is this: I am not a student nor a preacher. I do want some depth but greek/hebrew is not my deal. I own a Logos package (Leaders) and love it other than the incomplete nature of some of the books and the lack of communication of that being the case.

Any thoughts?

Complete agreement with Brad. Contact Logos sales for a better price than on the website.

Cornerstone Commentary series is also excellent, and very underrated I think. However, not all the Bible is covered; there are still volumes to be released.

There are not many whole Bible multi-volume commentaries (many are missing volumes). However I third the recommendation on the Tyndale Commentary and would also recommend considering the not-yet completed New American Commentary.

I'm going to go against the flow and recommend Expositor's Bible Commentary over Tyndale. It's obviously personal preference, but I do have both and I use EBC far more than I use Tyndale (although I do get use out of Tyndale as well.) Just my two cents.

Tyndale is fine, but I'll throw one in that I like from right field:
Zondervan Illustrated Bible Backgrounds Commentary

These volumes are more focused on background then on theological issues and are great to "paint a picture" in your mind of the cultural setting and archaeological history.

If you're looking for something more Application oriented, I would point you to the "Life Application" commentary series. Simply fantastic IMHO.

If you're looking for a mix, and are OK with NT + OT Prophets, NIVAC is simply fantastic.

New American Commentary (NAC) is also great.

If you're OK with 1-2 Volumes, check out the popular Bible Knowledge Commentary (single volume) or if you're from a Calvary Chapel friendly background, John Courson has a verse by verse set (3 volumes) that is application oriented.

I own all the above in Logos except for NIVAC (Have NIVAC stuff in print and don't have $600 for Logos NIVAC)

If you have a particular bent towards a denomination or theology, sharing that would likely get you an even better recommendation. For example, if you come from a Mennonite or Anabaptist background, check out the Believer's Church Bible Commentary that has a pre-pub update out right now.

You can either call or email sales. They do not always have a cheaper price than the web price. But sometimes they are, and if you know the web price already . . .

New American Commentary (NAC) is also great.

[Y] On the NAC and I'd add the venerable Pulpit Commentary series which uniquely combines exegesis with a Homily section for each passage for application.
