Wallace's Greek Grammar Beyond the Basics

Hello,

I am going to buy the above stated resource, but I am wondering how it is "indexed" Some books I like to have "in hand" others in L4..... Can anybody tell me if the resource would be handy within L4? Will it pop up in the passage guide etc...

It's just indexed by page. It won't come up in Passage Guide that I am aware of, was there a particular section you were wondering about in PG? It's not a commentary, harmony, etc.

That said, I think it is a very good resource that helps me understand some verses, but I am not a Greek expert by any means...

This resource will show up in the Exegetical Guide Grammar section if the verse you are studying is referenced in the resource. It is a wonderful resource to have.

Good decision - this is a really useful and clearly written grammar. It works well as a reference text in Logos and it represents well in the Grammars section of the Exegetical guide (I didn't think grammars are offered as a heading in the Passage guide). For each element of grammar, Wallace offers four or five clear examples, thoroughly layed out (the biblical text in Greek and English with the actual occurence in bold print). He then offers a range of other likely examples of this grammatical element under the heading "Cf ". Logos make it easy view these via the popup window.

However ... If you want to actually read the text chapter by chapter, I found it so much easier to get the idea behind the layout of the book by owing a paper copy of it. So ... I own two copies - the Logos version and the Zondervan paper one, and I don't regret buying either.
