I've just purchased the Ugaritic collection, and the description says that we can switch from transliteration to the Ugaritic font, but I do not know how to do this and do not see this option. I am completely new to Logos.
Welcome to the forums Dean!
The Ugaritic Font is Zebul Open.
If you go into Program Settings/Fonts/Default Font you'll see Zebul Open at the bottom. However for me the fonts changes but they don't look like Ugaritic? Do they to you?
It looks like it works, it apparently is only where cuneiform is displayed. Check that section in Ugaritic Textbook (revised Reprint).

Where did you see this description? (I'm not completely sure yet what it would be referring to.)

Hi Bradley, I don't know specifically what the OP saw, but what I saw was -- if you check out the Ugaritic Library it says:
[quote] While most of the Ugaritic in this product is transliterated, which is easier to read than the cuneiform letters, Logos Bible Software is able to display and search on cuneiform Ugaritic text.
Also if you look at this blog entry, it says:

The Ugaritic font (dubbed Zebul Open) will be available as part of the Ugaritic Library, on pre-pub now.
I saw that text in the Ugaritic Library product page, too. If that's what the OP was referring to, then I think I can see how it might be read as implying that there is an "option" to "switch from transliteration to the Ugaritic font", but that's not actually the case. What it's actually saying is:
There isn't a program option or feature that will change one into the other at runtime; the transliterated text will always be transliterated, and the cuneiform letters will always be cuneiform.
Thanks for clearing that up Bradley.
Sorry for the tardy response, only just checked back in. Thanks to everyone for clearing up the issue, and for pointing out where I can find the font.
Thanks, yes, found it, so it should display when I see it. But right now I can't actually find anything in cuneiform to check. I've only found the transliterated so far.

Chapter 18, "Cuneiform Selection" in Ugaritic Textbook has a large sample of cuneiform text.
