Version Number in settings or about
A pretty standard feature in most apps is to have an about section that includes the version number. It would be nice to add this somewhere into the app. I looked for it under Settings (most apps have it in Settings -> About) but didn't see anything. Maybe I missed it, but if not, it would be a handy thing to add to easily check version number.

You are quite correct! Android applications display their version number in the Settings > Applications > Manage Applications menu.
It seems then that you'd also like a Settings > About section in the app as well?
Thanks,

I'm just saying almost every App I am aware of has a Settings -> About page within the app itself. Just saves all of us digging for the app version in the settings. Even Gmail app has it. As a matter of fact the first 5 apps I just checked on my phone either has Settings -> About or simply lists the current version of the app on the settings page itself.
