How do I link to another place in the Personal Book or link to other resources in Logos?
Robert,
Take a look at the PBB Wiki under syntax - resource links.
No help
to linke to another place within the personal book add a bookmark to the location you want to link to (insert ribbon>Bookmark), then create a hyperlink (highlight the text you want to be the hyperlink Select "insert" ribbon>hyperlink and then "place in this document" on left, then select the bookmark you created. when you create your PB the link will be maintained.
to create a hyperlink to another L4 resource open the resource in L4, open the resource menu, select url at the bottom. this will put the url for the location in the clipboard. Go to your word document, select the text you want to be the hyperlink, then select "insert" ribbon>hyperlink. Select existing file or web page on left, place your cursor in the "address"box at the bottom and press CTRL+V.
Could show me an example?
Sure. The first screen shot shows the syntax in a word doc (I cropped just the syntax). The second screen shot shows a Personal Book that was created from that word doc on the right. On the left is the book that I opened with the hyperlink.
To see where you get the resource link, see screen shot below. When you want to add features to Personal Books, it is not as easy as "point and click" - there is defiantly a learning curve, but you can get it if you want to. Morris Proctor has some short videos on his website. I will see if I can get the link.

That is helpful information and onswers part of my questions, but how can I reference a spot within a current pbb document
you can either 1: add a milestone - and a datatype link - see PB section of the wiki: http://wiki.logos.com/Personal_Books
or 2: in Word just create a hyperlink to the required place.
I have tried hyperlinks and did not work So I will try the other way
Hi Robert
I have tried hyperlinks and did not work
There is a known problem with internal hyperlinks - http://community.logos.com/forums/p/36348/273750.aspx#273750 - which may be explaining this
