Difficulty unlocking new resource

Hi,

From Amazon.com I just received a Libronix-compatible CD containing 15 years of Discipleship Journal magazine. Great idea, except that I don't know how to unlock it. Libronix 3.0g asks for a serial number, but there is no serial number to be found anywhere in, on, or around the CD's packaging. Hence, the new resource remains locked and unavailable to my Logos 4 installation, even after a resource sync. I will welcome your suggestions.

If there's no serial number, you'll need to call Logos Customer Service to handle it. They can unlock it at their end. They might ask for some sort of proof of purchase; I'm not sure how they handle these cases.

    Bill:

Rosie is right. Or you could also try to get the serial number prompt on your own. If you put the disc in the drive then launch Logos4 it should, I believe, give you a serial number prompt. If it doesn't just give us a call and we can activate the serial number to your account. That is all the proof of purchase we should need.

Hmmm, I got the same anthology a while back and as I recall the # was on the cellophane wrapper around the CD jewel case.  Easily discarded by an unwary eye.

Do you think that might be the case?

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

    Thomas,

If it is the case that the serial number was on the cellophane wrapping, then YIKES!! I have always very casually discarded CD/DVD plastic wrappings; never would I have thought to look for the serial number there.

All I can say, Thomas, is great eye!

Logos customer service has responded to my e-mail, asking me for proof of purchase, which I have sent them. Once the purchase is verified, they will provide me with a serial number.

Thanks for the help, one and all,

    Bill

My CD of Discipleship Journal is a Wordsearch 7 program, not Libronix. Might want to check that.

Hi John!  Welcome!  Were you wanting it for Logos and got WS7 by mistake?

. . . anyway, thank you for your input.

Was the same with me (I didn't discard it, luckily).
