I have tried to add hyperlinks to a Microsoft Word 2010 document without success. Any help would be appreciated.
Rod
where are you trying to add it?
notes? PB?
i am trying to put bible references in a word document
Rodney -
If you are trying to put bible references into a word document to make a personal book using PBB, using standard phrasing [i.e. "John 3:16" or "Jn. 3:16"] will automatically create a hyperlink when you import the .docx into Logos.
On the other hand, if you are trying to create hyperlinks to click on in WORD... Click the "Copy Location As URL" button and paste into Word.
After you click on URL, you click on insert in Word and then highlight the Scripture reference in Word and click hyperlink at the top. A window opens and right click where it says address and click paste. Also you may want to activate smart tags, see the link.
Smart Tags
To Illustrate Colorado's advice, make this a Word docx file if you have the Harvard Classics. <ctrl-click> on the link and see what you get.
This is a link to the Harvard Classics.
if its just bible refs you could use the smart tags...
Thanks to all for the advice. Smart tags will work for this situation (I had forgotten about them).
