App problem with Acer A500

I recently bought an Acer A500 tablet and downloaded the app for my Logos today.  My problem is two-fold.  

  1. I can access all of my books but when I download one to the tablet it states that resource cannot be opened.
  2. How on earth do I select a word for study from the scripture?  I am familiar with the app for my iPhone and it acts very similar to my PC library, but not so with the droid app.

    How on earth do I select a word for study from the scripture?

    Try "long-pressing" a word in a Bible. This should bring up a word study box at the bottom of the screen with some basic information from which you can run a Word Study.

    Alternatively just "click" on a passage and then press your menu button. One of the options there is "Word Study". From inside this screen you can change the word you are studying as well.

    I thank you Graham.  It turns out that if I download the app from the android market it works quite nicely.  The tidbit you shared with me regarding using the menu selection steered me in the right direction.
