Text alignment problem (justified/left)

Hi!

There's a text alignment problem in my Logos4. In some resources text is aligned to left in some chapters and justified in some chapters. In the screenshot below there's Finnish Bible made by Logos in the left and a PB made by me on the right. In the Bible different verses are being aligned differently. In the PB all the paragraphs are aligned justified, but when there's a list etc. with linebreak in the end of every line, the word spaces are huge.

I have had some difficulties with alignment in PB's as well. I wonder if the "style" that is being used perhaps overrides the specific formatting of a passage.

But the problem is also with some Logos made resources, like the Finnish 1938 Bible shown in the screenshot of my previous post.

1. It looks like your Bible is in "Bible Text Only" mode. Try switching back to normal and see if your problem goes away (it should).

2. The problem with the PB may be due to what I am going to call the lack of a "hard paragraph return." In the first screen shot below, you will see what you have been experiencing. In the second shot, the justification is correct, but there are unwanted gaps. In Adobe InDesign, you can do a shift return to force a break.

I have included two versions of your document below, eliminating the majority of the document, so that anyone else can play around with them.

I agree with alabama, it looks like you have soft returns where hard ones should be. Here's something to try, go into your program settings and turn off "Justify text"

1. The Bible is in normal mode, it's one verse / line layout. In fact I noticed the problem exists with every "one verse per line" Bible, except the Hebrew ones (like NASB, greek texts etc.). So it seems to be a bug in Logos4.

2. Thanks for the advice! I changed the soft returns to hard returns and changed the style of those lines to ged rid of the gaps between lines. That works well now.
