Loving it, but...
Would love to have a "close" option that shuts down the entire app instead of having to back out of several screens.
Running on Droid Eris.
Have I missed something?

Most Android phones (I believe the Eris is included) have a "home" button that will take you back to your dashboard directly.
As such, we don't anticipate a need for a separate home/exit button.
Is that not what you were indicating?
Thanks,

I think when one uses the home key the application remains running for awhile. To save resources (memory, CPU and battery) go into Task Manager (see all apps), and put Logos (etc) on the two minute automatic end list . This will shut the program off two minutes after you quit using it (note: this is available in Droid X2, not sure if it is included in all Droids).

This is the issue...just going "home" doesn't turn the app off. I could do as Laurie has suggested, but then would it close itself during a sermon if I don't use it for more than 2 minutes? Because that happens a lot.

I'm sure it means you have to exit (go Home) first!

But in Android; this is a feature, not a bug or an unwanted issue...that's actually the idea that the app stays active....it's on the launch list it's not dragging your system down...it's not like Windows where if you have 5 programs on the launch list (or whatever they call it) then it's a bad thing....possibly in the very early days of Android but not now....
Just FYI.
