There shouldn't be much of a difference between the two sizes of iPhone as far as the normal (online) usage of the app is concerned.

More storage space is needed for downloading your books for offline use, but that will depend on how many resources you want to download.

    Dan -

I don't know how closely you follow Mac rumors, but you should be aware that typically reliable sources are saying that a new iPhone (either a 4GS or 5) will be coming out within the next two months. Also, there is a really good chance that Sprint will be carrying it too.

Looking at System Requirements - Mac noticed Portfolio edition resources are 8.05 GB (all internet resources could be downloaded for offline use on 16 GB iOS model).

Looking at Internet Logos Resources => http://www.logos.com/products/search?Platform=Internet noticed 5,443 available (out of 6,100 resources available for purchase); notably missing some Zondervan titles (e.g. NIV bibles).

Logos app on iOS runs the same with 16 GB and 32 GB for storage (can choose how much of Logos library to download for offline use).  If want to carry all Logos video series at same time => http://www.logos.com/products/search?q=video+series then may want to consider more storage (option: can use handbrake to reduce video size for iOS device use).

MacRumors web site has a Buyer's Guide => http://buyersguide.macrumors.com/#iPhone (Don't Buy plus article yesterday has new FCC ID for an unreleased iPhone).

Thanks for the replies...I think I may wait for the new iphone...wonder what the cost is going to be...think it will be the same?  VZW has the unlimited data plan, but not sure if that is going to stay that way when the new phone comes out...

They will likely be the same price as they have been the last few generations I believe. At least the last 2 since that is what I have bought. As for the VZW data, you should tell them that unless they grandfather you in even if you buy that you will leave and go to Sprint which is going to get the new iPhone and does have unlimited data. But be prepared to follow through. I am sure they will comply or may let you keep it without having to make such a threat.

I thought that Verizon no longer offers the unlimited data plan, that it changed in July, the limit being 2GB. Is that incorrect?

If you already had it you don't have to give it up unless you want to make certain changes. But getting firm with them they often let you keep it even then. The change was only for new customers going forward.
