How do I do a search?
This is an obvious question, and I have looked all over in this forum for an answer.
I should be able to simply press the Android search button while I am reading a Bible text and a search dialog open for me to enter a word(s) to search for within the Bible text. But, pressing the search button does nothing. Also, I have been unable to find any menu item for doing a simple search.
Does this feature exist in the Android app? If so, please help me locate it. Thanks.

We have not yet implemented the search feature that you are looking for. This is one of our high-priority features to add so you should be seeing that in a future release soon.

Thanks for the reply. I had already looked at the list of stuff coming, and I noted this from the list, "Full cross-library search online," which sounds great. However, it sounds like a sledge hammer for killing a mosquito. I would like to have something simpler than that as well. Namely, the ability to search the Bible text for a word or phrase, and it needs to be available off-line. I do not want to have to be limited to only doing a search when on-line.

At the moment you CAN do a bible word study with amounts to the same thing.
Just long press a word and choose "bible word study" and you will get all occurrences of your word.

But it's not getting "all occurrences" or conducting a Search!?

Please include search capability on the open book. I've tried using a search on one of the dictionary s to no avail.0

The gray bar across the bottom of your image which has the words "Bible Word Study on {greek/hebrew}" is actually a button. Press it, and if resources are available for that word, you will get a Word Study.
At least it works that way for me.
