I have put together a personal book for my library, which has maps and charts in it. Once produced I found that the images did not appear in the new PB.
Am I doing something wrong or does the PBB not yet cater for images yet?

What version of Word are you using? There are some problems with Word 2003 but they should work thereafter. There were also some problems re: how they were added to the Word document (select files vs. paste) but I think that has been fixed.
There are different ways of inserting images into Word, and different image formats can be used. Logos PBB supports the most commonly used methods, but presumably your document is unusual in some way. If you upload an extract (perhaps a single page with a faulty image or two), we could take a look and suggest a compatible method for inserting the maps/charts.
I am using Word 2003 with the 2007 converter installed from Microsoft that allows me to save the document as a Word 2007 .docx
Everything else is functional but the pictures / images do not transfer into the document
I have cut and pasted maps of Abram's Journeys from one of the Bible Handbooks from Logos 4 as part of the study I was doing, but the image does not carry over to the PB, but is present in the Word .docx file.
What images are handled by Logos PBB?
Several users have found that these must be inserted from the hard drive and with Text Wrapping (on right click menu) set to In Line. But that does not work in Word 2003 at present.
If you've copied/pasted it from Logos it should be fine, it will come over as a bitmap file. The problem I was referring to occurs when you paste from applications like Adobe Photoshop, which by default uses a format Logos doesn't understand. You can get the same problem if you insert the image from a file, and the format isn't something standard like JPG or PNG.
It's likely that the problem might be the Word 2003 issue Dave mentioned. The only way to know for certain would be to upload the document (or part of it) here for someone with Word 2007/2010 to test.
Hi! Word 2003 with the 2007 converter makes a bit different docx file than Word 2007/2010. I hope Logos will add better support for that, but the current workaround I'm using is this:
If you have pictures in the file, do the following:
1. save it as doc
2. upload it to Windows Skydrive http://skydrive.live.com
3. convert it to docx in Skydrive (click on edit, when it asks if you'll like to convert it click convert, you don't need to make any changes there, just convert and save)
4. download the docx file
You can open the new docx file in Word to see everything is OK before compiling the PB.
Thank you for all the help and advice you have all posted.
I have sorted the problem!
I opened my documents and cut and pasted them into a new document and re-saved them using Word 2007 format from my laptop (I have Word 2007 on that machine).
The compatibility mode for Word 2003 does not work for images although the rest of the documents was fine.
With regards the type of images used, those directly cut and pasted from Logos 4 had no problem when saved with Word 2007. However, I also had a picture from one of my pdf documents. This would not copy across successfully. I tried saving it as a jpeg and then pasting it into the document but no success. Only when I saved it as in bmp (bitmap) format and pasted that into the document did it appeas successfully in my PB.
Once again thnak you to you all for your sugestions and help
