Might sound like a crazy question, but how do you sign out of Logos on your desktop?
Doesn't sound crazy, but I'm not sure I understand your purpose for wanting to do this.
I'm not aware of a way to "sign out" of Logos, but you can disable the ability of Logos to use the internet (in Program settings). Is there something else you're trying to accomplish by trying to sign out?
Yes, I'm giving my laptop to a friend, but I was going to have Logos so she could sign into her account instead of it logging into mine.
If you start Logos while holding down the ctrl button you can enter the new email and password for your friends account.
ah, brilliant Kevin..thanks very much [:D]
Thanks too for your reply Richard.

Beware it will download and index afresh for the new account, so there will then be two accounts on the computer.
Now that is truly amazing!
Just think if three Logos-Portfolio friends wanted to share the same computer on a trip.
And they all ordered the Perseus collection.
I bet that computer would never stop indexing.
No weekend holiday for them!

Well how did you know I would be living this nightmare? I have a quandary that involves several of these factors and I need advice.
edit: Do you know if there is a similar trick to signing out on a Logos 4 Mac installation? The Control key trick Kevin offered does not work for me. Sorry to post on the Windows thread. [:$]
-------- 4 .4 hours later -----
[:D] I found it. Hold down the Command key while clicking on the Logos icon. Keep holding the key until the sign-in box appears. It would not have been so difficult had I a real Mac keyboard to work with. I'm working with a Silicone Graphics Japanese layout and I told setup it is US English. It makes the ANSI codes quite unpredictable.

Wiki Getting Started with Logos includes: "Tip: PC control key often becomes command key on Mac."
Wiki Mac and PC User Interface Differences => Keyboard Shortcuts includes: "Many PC shortcuts that use Ctrl key have corresponding Command key equivalent on Mac"
When using a Windows USB keyboard on a Mac, Windows Logo key typically becomes Mac command key.
Keep Smiling [:)]

Thank you. I did discover those Wiki entries. I also discovered a few more keyboard short-cuts. (I just hate this one-button Apple mouse!) I'm checking into aftermarket I/O devices.
Meanwhile, Logos 4 has gone through THREE download/index cycles. I wonder how many more?! The first was 22.5GB. next one: 2.5GB, the latest 77.4MB with indexing @11% complete. I really should have scanned L4 resources off my Windows netbook folder.

Thankful can use USB mice and trackballs with Mac OS X (especially like ones with wheels). Alternative is Apple's TrackPad and MagicMouse with multi-touch capabilities.
Been there, done that more times than can count on fingers; looks like most resources successfully downloaded first time (88 %), which is an improvement (would appreciate consistent 100 % download in one cycle).
