2 Suggestions Regarding Word Study and Passage Guide

Word Study

I own several dictionaries and encyclopedias in Logos. It would be great when I do a word study for those references (both dictionaries and encyclopedias) to appear as link choices in the word study for further research. At present, only the merriam webster dictionary appears in the word study box. If I want to use my ISBE/ZEB/HOLMAN I have to: 1) go to my library; 2) search for the reference; 3) open the reference; 4) search within the reference for the item of interest. Way to many steps in my opinion.

Passage Guide

The screen on my tablet is large enough to show about 20 verses at once in my bibles. If I want to look up one of those verses I may have to press the "right" arrow key 20 times to get to the correct verse and then hit the passage guide button. Here are two options to GREATLY increase the speed of implementing the passage guide:

1) Whenever the "menu" button is pressed, have logos automatically determine which passages are visible on the screen at a time. Then in the line which currently has the arrows and "current passage" (e.x., "<    Daniel 8:23  >") have every single passage listed (e.x., "8:23, 24, 25, 26, 27; 9:1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11"). I think this would be much easier.

2) Another alternative would be to simply make each verse number within a bible a link which when pressed could implement the passage guide.

Thoughts?

Does anyone have any comments or criticisms of these two suggestions? I would like to drum up some support if possible.

    For an English Bible it should be your top prioritised English dictionary in PC/Mac Logos 4 at the time you installed on Android. For a reverse interlinear like ESV you get the top prioritised Greek/Hebrew lexicon(s).

    I would not be averse to a  more... option.

    An up swipe starting in the relevant verse will bring up the passage!

    That up-swipe is fantastic! Are there any other gestures worth knowing about?

    Do you get access to the ESV reverse interlinear in Android?  How do you get at it since it isn't a separate book?

    You get limited access to its Interlinear capabilities via the Logos server e.g Word lookup on a long press + Bible Word Study on the underlying Greek/Hebrew. If your base Library is Home then you won't have access to the Interlinear part.

    My "Star" does not mean that I'm a Logos employee (more like a "super user"). So I'm also hoping it will be considered!
