Can you download sets, or just single resources at a time?
This has probably been answered before, but with all the recent advances in Android app, I thought I would ask anyway. Can you download more than one resource at a time...say, WBC commentaries instead of the 59 volumes individually?

I can only find a Download button on a single book. I wouldn't mind it downloading a set/series at home because I use my own Wifi!

Yeah mate, that is exactly what I wanted to do....on my tablet...I purposelly bought a 32GB tablet so I could have the majority of my library on it...but it is so tedious downloading individual resources.

It would be also useful to have the option of putting them on an "external" micro SD which some Android devices can accomodate. [H]
This may mean adding an option to download the Android versions to your PC and manually copying them to the "external" card, but Logos Android will need to be modified to search for a downloaded Logos library on any attached storage device, rather than just the main built in "internal" storage card. [8-|]

I'm not even sure that you can download one complete resource with Android Beta. I think only the page you are reading plus a couple to either side are cached. I took my rooted NOOK Color to church last Sunday for the first time. It has no mobile net capability -- WiFi only. When I tried to turn to the passages being preached, I could only access a couple page spread around the page I'd last studied at home. Fortunately, I have Logos for Android on my cell phone and was able to successfully access the passages that way.

After downloading a resource you should be able to read the entire resource. If you had wifi access on the Nook you should have been able to stream resources as normal.
Try downloading a book, then set your device to Airplane Mode. You should only see the books you have downloaded in your Library, and have full access to them.

I've been having the same problem with my android tablet. I have downloaded books and then I can not access the downloaded books in airplane mode at all...unless I review the pages I reviewed previously in history. Also, I've noticed that once I've downloaded the books ....It gives the error, unable to create display when connected to WIFI. So then I uninstall the books so I can at least read them.

I have been unable to reproduce this bug.
If you'd like to help us track this down further, navigate to the Android Market and download an app (it's free!) called CatLog. This allows us to pull some log files from the device.
Once CatLog is installed, run Logos and reproduce that error. Close Logos and then open CatLog, press the Menu button on your device and then select Send. Email that log as an attachment to yourself.

I'm trying to download NASB as I write. It downloaded the 1st 1/8" of the status bar, lickety split. Now, it's stuck 1/8" into the download... no progress at all. Nothing else takes this long to download. I have wifi, too, so I'm not limited by the (lack of) 3G wireless speed.
What gives?

Interesting... it completed without ever updating the download status bar further than 1/8". And in airplane mode (wifi & network off), I can manually navigate (by book, chapter, & verse) from one end to the other... (I spot checked in Genesis & Revelation.) It appears to have downloaded...
I will say, though, that the navigation slider failed every time I tried to navigate that way... had to key in a recognized book name, (not so easy, since it didn't recognize ge for Genesis), chapter, & verse.

EDIT: Slider navigation now appears to be working... (after clearing data, uninstalling, reinstalling, downloading NASB95, ISBE, & Webster's dictionary, slider works in all downloaded books)

Argh! Now I've got 2 Bibles downloaded (ASV & NASB)... So I want to remove the ASV but it doesn't have a Remove button! Worst of all, that's the one that opens, now, as if it's "preferred." (Neither is 1st in my L4 installation--NIV is. But Android doesn't have a license to it, & NASB was my highest preference that could be (after NRSV).
How do I Remove the ASV???
Edit: I had intended to attach a picture showing the absence of an ASV button...

Since you only have two books downloaded, I'd just delete the app and reinstall it and start over.

The ASV will always be downloaded to the device. It is the default bible used for keylinking and references, along with offline reading.
Currently the app uses your preferred bible as it is set in Logos 4 to determine which bible to use by default for references and reading. Resource Priority (set in the Library window of Logos 4) is not yet supported for these purposes.

How do I keylink to the English definition of a word using my favorite english dictionary (I have Platinum + in L4, so I have a couple of english dictionaries). What about keylink to an encyclopedia (ISBE, for example)--how do I do that?
Where can I find out what IS supported, currently?

If you continue to have downloading troubles, try setting your phone to not sleep/dim the display. Some devices shut down the antenna when in sleep mode.

Hi Hunter, NASB is downloaded... ISBE is downloading as I write & just finished. It had the same problem, though... progress bar doesn't really give the progress except at intervals. I have a single processor... to keep the progress accurate, did I need more horsepower?

That seems likely. I am running a dual-core processor in my phone (Motorola Atrix) and the progress bar is fairly smooth.

What's shown is smooth... it's a snapdragon processor... it just stops updating the screen after a bit, though the download eventually appears to work.

Problem was, I couldn't access Wi-Fi in church, so I couldn't stream. Tried "Airplane Mode" but with same result. Today, I fired up the NOOK for the first time in a week and installed v. 0.9.0. Since then I have been able to successfully download NASB, ESV, and Shaeffer's Complete Works. Now, when I turn off WiFi or go to "Airplane Mode" and enter Logos, I see only the three downloaded books (plus the ASV) listed as "Library (Offline)" and the complete resources are available. HOORAY!
V. 0.9.0 seems quite polished and appears to be faster than the last beta. Its a super app, but I'd still love to see Logos implement page turning animation in Logos Android similar to that of the NOOK app, and make the Logos menus accessible only by pressing the android "Menu" button so they don't keep annoyingly popping up whenever I try to tap a reference near the top or bottom of the page. (Home>Android>Suggestions -- Page Flip Animation and Menu Open Change for Android Beta)

Please Logos, give us the option for group/multiple downloads. I have just spent a tedious 5 days downloading 3500+ individual titles and this is the second time I've had to do it after a botched upgrade to Android 9.0 (fortunately 9.1 found all my resources).
