Logos - Consider Making Your Video Series Free to the Public on YouTube or Elsewhere

First, let me start by saying that this is not a complaint or a gripe at all. Also let me say that I am not saying that Logos is wrong for their current practices. As the Bible says, "You have not because you ask not." So I'm politely and publicly asking with the full understanding that Logos may say NO and they are not only in their right to do so I would not be surprised if they choose to do so.
Now all that out of the in hopes of fending off a heated forum debate ...
Logos would you please consider making the instructional videos that you have created something you give back to the church as a gift to help people out. I am talking about the DVDs that you have created for helping students learn to do word studies, learn Greek or Hebrew, etc.
Here is why I think this would be a good idea for you and for the church. First, I believe you would lose money because I am sure that producing these would cost you something. However, it might also work the other way offering more advertising for your products as people searching on YouTube for videos about the topics see that you are making them and giving them away, they might be inclined to use Logos.
Second, this would further help you keep pace with your competitors. Other bible software companies are doing this with a focus on how to do the various tasks in their applications.
Finally, there is always the blessing of God for giving to build his kingdom.
As a way of putting my money where my mouth is, I would be willing to contribute a small monthly or larger one time gift to help fund these kinds of projects for the benefit of the kingdom and my fellow brothers and sisters who could use this kind of thing but cannot afford to go to seminary or pay for the DVDs.
Thanks for a great product, despite my often critical posts. I love Logos and while I try to stay objective as a journalist covering Bible software, I usually recommend one of three products to my friends and fellow pastors with Logos being one of them every time.

Kev, although my spirit agrees with yours on the entire post (I truly do believe that buying out MPSeminars, LearnLogos, et al would yield HUGE dividends... if only people didn't have to invest heavily in climbing the steep Logos learning curve, I have difficulty imagining any student of the Bible that wouldn't want Logos), I;m particularly in concert with your quoted statement [H]

I agree with your sentiments, but in the meantime I point people to Mark Barnes's excellent unofficial Logos 4 training videos which are free: http://www.logos4training.com/
