How do you do have a parallel bible like what you get in Logos 3?
open both bible side by site, and sync (or link, can't remember) and when you scroll in one window, the other will move with it.
But I'm thinking more like what you got in Logos 3, where all the verses were side by side...
Do you mean Compare Bibles? That is Tools | Text Comparison.
If you mean linking several Bibles together you just open the ones you want for instance ESV, NIV, NASB, then you go to Layouts - Bottom left hand side of window and pick whether you want vertical or horizontal rows.
To link them together click on the little arrow next to the symbol of a book just to the left of the Bible title. A dropdown menu allows you to link them all together as A, B, C, etc.
John
Text comparison, Make the pane horizontal along the bottom and it will change to side by side. Or click the menu icon in the upper left of the resource pane and select horizontal. Or hover over the verse you want to compare and press F7
Thank you so much!!!
If you open Tools | Text Comparison in a floating window (or enlarge the window) the verses will be set side by side.
John, While floating the window is a great suggestion, the functionality of "Parallel Bibles" Version 3 is SUPERIOR to "Text compare" in version 4. While you can compare a verse or chapter, they must be contiguous. In version 3 we can compare several different verses separated by a semi-colon. I use this feature to prepare study materials for the Bible study I lead. Parallel Bibles is a feature I will not give up.
