Android 3.2
I am on the point of buying an Android tablet running 3.2. I have Logos 4.3 and have downloaded Logos into my Android phone with no problem. Has anyone any experience of running Logos on an Android tablet. I would be keen to make sure before i splashed out the money. The main reason for buying this tablet is the sheer handiness of taking my library in that format.
Thanks,
Alex.

Hi Alex,
I have an Acer Iconia running 3.2 -- Logos is very good! Have not had a single issue, once favorites is added will be brilliant.

Many thanks for your reply, I think I will go for the Sony Tablet S and get Logos set up on it.
God bless

Send a report back on how well that Sony works... I really like the app on my 4 inch screen, but for long term studying, I would like a tablet. Hopefully, it works perfectly...

I too am considering the Sony Tablet S, but am wondering if I can get away without buying the 3G model, and how Logos for Android works when out of wifi range. Have you tried this?
Many thanks,

Hi Andrew,
No issues with the Sony Tablet S, everything is normal and works well and fast, typical Honeycomb. Logos4 is fantastic, just download all your library on to it and it works well. I have the WiFi model, the only time you need a connection is if you want to use the Passage Guide, then you have to be connected for this. No problem though as I tether my HTC Desire phone to it and get a connection if needed. No need to spend an extra £100.00

Hi Alex,
Many thanks for your reply. I presume you tether over wifi. I currently have a Windows Mobile 6.1 phone (HTC Touch HD) but am looking to change to an Android phone, e.g Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, or Samsung Galaxy S2 - haven't looked at HTC Android phones - any suggestions?
Cheers, Andrew

Andrew,
Dont think the manufacturer makes much difference, i think if the phone is running android 2.3 then you will be able to create a "portable Wi-Fi Hotspot" This is what the tablet will pick up, replacing the router in your home. Look under "wireless and networks" on your present phone and try a laptop or netbook to pick it up. I think i will go for the Samsung Galaxy s2 next time when my contract is up. I like the big screen.
Forgot to mention that Sony are going to supply a physical keyboard and docking station. I dont think they will be too expensive.
