Copying passages from AFAT and NA27 to an MS Word document

Hi!

When I copy a passage from AFAT (Andersen-Forbes Analyzed Text) to an MS Word document, the Hebrew characters in the document appear very small and stay small even after I try to increase the font size. The style of the characters is also not as elegant or attractive as the one in AFAT.

When I copy a passage from NA27 (Nestle-Aland Greek NT, 27th ed) to a Word document, some Greek characters appear fine while others appear as squares.

What's the solution to both problems?
Will I have these same problems when I use Pages (Apple's word processor)?

(The "copy" I'm referring to is the Copy Bible Verses function within Logos 4.)

Apologies: unable to replicate using Word 2010 (32 bit) on Windows 7 (64 bit) with Logos 4.3 SR-4 (can change font and size, not have squares that indicate missing characters in font).

Wondering about version of Word, operating system, and Logos ?

Likewise curious about passages (can try to replicate).

For Mac OS X, may want to consider Mellel, Scrivener, and LibreOffice for Hebrew editing (LibreOffice is free, has option for complex language support).

Hi!

Many thanks for your helpful reply. I'm using Word 2000 on Windows XP Home and Logos 4.2 SR-2. The passages that I tried to copy were Genesis 1.1 and John 1.1.

I read the Apple discussion re: Pages '09 and Hebrew. Now I'm convinced to try LibreOffice. Is it good for both Hebrew and Greek editing? (I haven't downloaded it.)

Using Word 2000 may be the problem since Microsoft didn't aggressively begin providing support for unicode fonts until WordXP
