Hi,
I must be missing some basic info on how to download the Logos App to my Nook Color.

I was thinking I could download by browsing on my Nook to the download page and after login to my account just click "install" or downloading on my pc with the Nook connected through the USB.  I get the a message saying "There are no Android phones associated with this account.".  Do I need to have a phone account to load the app on my Nook Color?  In reading through the posts on this site it sounded like the Logos App would work on the Nook Color.

thanks,
Dennis

You can't run L4Android from the Nook Color natively--B&N won't let you access the normal Android Market [apps store].

There are two ways to fix this.

    1.  Root the Nook Color itself.  This can be undone, but if you do this then you are only able to run a single version of Android on your Nook Color.

    2.  Buy an $8 MicroSDHC Class 4 8GB memory card and put normal Android [Gingerbread version] on the card.  Then you can put the card in your Nook Color, boot off the card and have full Android access--including all apps, like L4Android.  If you want to go back to the regular B&N experience, just take the memory card out and reboot.  I listed how I did it here: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/34852.aspx  If you aren't into computers, you might try to find a fellow Nook Color user who has rooted one this way alrready--they might even be able to build the card for you.

    Thanks - I'll try option #2 as I have a 16mb Card.
