Hi,
I'd like to Copy and Paste passages to LibreOffice Writer. How do I add (or install?) it to the list of word processors listed in my Logos 4 (Pages, MS Word, Keynote)?
Many thanks in advance!
Lincoln
Logos 4.3 SR-4 on Mac has 5 Copy Bible Verse (CBV) destination options:
Option: choose Microsoft Word in CBV, click Copy, switch to LibreOffice Writer, then Paste. LibreOffice Writer can format contents pasted from clipboard like Microsoft Word.
Keep Smiling [:)]
Many thanks! It works now. May I ask another question?
I wanted to show what the Hebrew fonts look like, but could neither copy and paste the passage here nor attach it in this message.
Your help is much appreciated.
OT: you need to save the picture as a file, then use the paperclip-icon to retrieve it. If the file is in a graphic format supported by the forum software, it will show the picture, otherwise it will generate an attachment to your post.
I tried your recommendation, but got this message: File type not valid - this type of file is not allowed. Then I decided to save the LibreOffice Writer document as a PDF. This is what appeared after I used the paper clip icon:
0777.Copy and Paste passages in Greek and Hebrew.pdf
I'm hoping that the file can be retrieved. I bought my MacBook Pro only recently - still learning to use it after having used a PC for years plus learning how to use Logos 4. So, all help is welcome that doesn't assume that I already know certain basics. [:)]
Blessings!

If you want to show us what something looks like, you can use a screen shot. command-shift-4 will allow you to select a region. Then use the paperclip icon to navigate to the image file on your desktop (when screen shots automatically go).

I use a screenshot program (jinx) that saves in *.png and I believe *.jpg and *.bmp may work, too. Office files (*.docx - and others claim LibreOffiuce writes these) typically work here, but I assume that unknown filetypes are blocked to prevent spreading viruses and other malware. You may try embedding in a zip, these are supported as well.
What may be an issue (don't know) is to really append the filetype in the name in *.XYZ format, as the forum software may not know what type a file named "screenshot" is on your Mac - in Windows the type is present and linked to a program and only optionally suppressed in Explorer (i.e. the real name of it is "screenshot.jpg" or "screenshot.png" - or "screenshot.exe"), while in Mac they really are missing, AFAIK. It worked for your PDF, though (I can see John 1:1 very nicely in Greek and the RTL small-font Hebrew from Genesis 1:1)
Using Preview, saved file as PNG (with .png extension) for forum posting. Wonder if LibreOffice complex text layout enabled:

Hi!
CBV from AFAT to LibreOffice Writer now works like a charm. Many thanks also for all the resources on learning how to use Logos 4 and Mac.
