save work space button

How do you "re-save" your current work space(where you left off) when your done for the day before closing the program once you have titled it? I usually have to go back to the "snapshots and figure out which one I was at last because if I click on my titled work space it takes me back to the point that I created it not to the point where I left off.

When you save a workspace the name of the saved workspace will appear in the lefthand column of the layout's section.

Right click the name of the layout you are currently working in and select save update to current snapshot and it will overwrite with the new information. Voila!

That was interesting. If you are certain of the layout name, it is quite easy. I used to type the layout name into the current snapshot box, but there you also need to know the name. Thanks for the tip.

Yes, I agree with George that this is a great tip when you remember which Layout you have open. If you have many Layouts and if it has been days since you last changed, it is difficult to proceed with confidence. It has been requested that there be a label or way of checking which Layout is open. This would be a big help. i'm sure something like this is or will be in the pipeline; for now we just do the best we can - maybe sticky notes on the corner of the monitor screen?

I've been asking for this since I deleted a REALLY important workspace during private beta days... Almost as soon as User Voice was made available, we've had a request (http://logos.uservoice.com/forums/42823-logos-bible-software-4/suggestions/659803-save-update-layout-without-needing-to-remember-its?ref=title)... Still nothing on the horizon that I'm aware of (http://www.logos.com/4/missingfeatures).
