Anyone know what this is about ?
Anyone know what this is about ?(seems to be a zero cost upgrade)...
Curious - where do you see this being reported?
Front page if you click on the upgrade button.....
Or do a search on JG http://www.logos.com/products/search?q=jg

Thanks - now I will echo the OP - what does it mean?
Looks like more books...... [G]
I upgraded my Platinum KF to JG, and it downloaded updates:
However, I believe I already owned all of those resources, so I'm not sure what's changed.
I did the same and also am rying to figure out the differince[:^)]
174.9MB download
In addition to Todd's helpful list they also appear to have "re-built":
The Pulpit Commentary.
Ezra-Nehemiah; and Philemon in the new EEC series
Handbook of ContemporaryPreaching by Michael Duduit
Jeremiah of the Interpretation Series
It seems like I had those titles already in Platinum KF. Any new titles??? or JG is just pricier addition for upgraders
In addition:
Todd, do you know if we "have" had 4 of these Lexham Syntactical & or clausal resources before?
I ask because mine show up with NO "mytags"--I've been under the impression that usually re-built books keep the tags?
or JG is just pricier addition for upgrader
I was not charged--just went through check-out with $0.00 cost
It looks to me as if they have just changed the the letters of the packages for some reason. I have Scholar's Silver and when I click on the "Free Upgrade" it tells me that the approximate value of books added is $0.
These are new resources - I got 5 new resources at Portfolio level. I know because I rate all resources, and after all the downloads 5 were rating:=0.
One question - when you do the "upgrade" for $0.00 it has a Logos4setup.exe link on the order page - I don't believe I need to do anything with that, but just checking.

I was wondering the same thing. I don't think so (I think its just the most current stable version), but I have been having problems since I updated to JG Platinum (Mac).
I got the same updates as Todd listed (for Platinum KF to JG), plus updates to the Pulpit Commentary series.
PDF of the comparison chart from Dec 7, 2010
5076.L4 Comparison Chart.pdf
EDIT: Please disregard the earlier spreadsheet, i opened the wrong PDF (one for the comparison page in Nov 2009; pre-portfolio package). It will be very confusing and misleading to use that spreadsheet. The above PDF was captured in Dec 7, 2010 (i believe this was right after the KF package came out)

I haven't done the JG upgrade and those same resources updated....plus a help file. (75 resources @ 99MB) the help file was earler before church.
I just went from Scholar's Platinum KF to JG. It looks like I gained 5 resources.
David, I received 5 resources. Just don't know what they are. Anyone know how to tell?
Look at the Last Updated column in Library and press it to sort by date.

Sort your Library by 'Last Updated' (add that column if it isn't showing).
Or look on your Home Page for a Resources Updated listing.
Hi Todd.
The Lexham Syntactic Greek New Testament is now available as an SBLGNT edition (in addition to the existing NA27-based edition). That's four resources, likely (syntax data base, sentence analysis [graphs], expansions and annotations, and the block-outline running text with interlinear and morph).
The Lexham Clausal Outlines of the Greek New Testament is also available as an SBLGNT edition (again, in addition to the existing NA27-based edition).
I believe that adds up to five resources. I don't know about other changes (seriously, I'm very focused on the Greek side of things so I really don't know).

Looking in Logos4.log file after JG package upgrade, noticed 6 new resources queued for download:

After indexing and refreshing Home Page, noticed 6 Updated JG Resources:
Edit: looking again at updated resources, noticed same title appears twice (black and blue).
Keep Smiling [:)]
Hi KS4J.
The black likely represents the data for the syntax database, which is a separate resource but has no visual form to link to. The blue is for the resource that has the Bible text in an indented form, morph, glosses, etc.
Hope it helps (and thanks for all the help you dispense on a regular basis!)

I was suspecting that was it. Thanks for the confirmation.
It's seems there were two mvps hypothesizing about what two-letter version iteration would be next...I enjoyed watching that discussion as JG drew closer to release....
You mean Dan and Alabama24.

You're right! Boy did I get excited when I saw it escalate to betting a hermeneia series! If Bob hadn't come in and said anything......
The JG upgrade also contains a new lectionary resource: the Revised Common Lectionary Daily Readings.
Hey now... I resemble that remark.
A resource count before/after showed 11 new resources, but I could only account for 1 totally new resource (daily RCL). The others looked like iterative new versions of resources I thought I already had...
Obviously, no takeaways...
