When viewing forum on HTC Incredible running Android V2.2, when I tap on text box, it highlights green momentarily, but no virtual keyboard pops up. Any suggestions?

Operator error could also be a good possibility!

I have the same problem from my HTC Desire.  I can do the "Search This Site" text box, but I can't type in the pop-up dialog when I try to reply to this thread.

    Hope more info helps...

Update:  Works the same whether it's "Reply" or "Quick Reply".

Chances are, that like other mobile computers you'll have to use the NON-rich text editor.  Or just click HTML on the toolbar and type a raw message.

You'll have to type any HTML codes you want manually though.

Hmm Sarcasm is my love language. Obviously I love you.

this is exactly what I do with my iPad. If you don't know HTML, though, take heart. Just hit "quote" when you're replying and start typing between the final < p> and final < /p>...and note the HTML doesn't really have those spaces inside the brackets...just don't know if they'll show up right in this post if I type them exactly as they should be.

This was sent using "Quick Reply" and selecting HTML.

The caret p caret did not appear until after I selected update button in the editor.
    Thanks for instructions.

Apparently the HTC Incredible has a built-in editor.

Thank you! I didn't know how, either...
