The verb punthanomai, which occurs in the LSJ, is missing from the Perseus edition - i.e. see Herodotus' Histories 1.25.4. I tried looking it up manually but it isn't there.
'karta' in 1.25.4 is also missing from Logos LSJ, though it is in the LSJ. Surely the Logos version should match the actual version?
I have no problems viewing the articles πυνθάνομαι or κάρτᾰ in the Logos edition of LSJ or the online Perseus edition of LSJ. But I can't find a location 1.25.4 in the Greek text of Herodotus - in the edition from Perseus, I don't see chapter 25 going past 1.25.2.
Could you provide a little more information about the resource you are in (click the little i with a circle icon to get the resource's file name and build date in the Support Info section) and exactly what you're clicking or typing in your attempt to look up the words in LSJ? Might also be useful to know the version information on your copy of LSJ (unless you're talking about the web lookup to the Perseus site), and what version number of Logos you are running, and what platform (Mac, Windows, etc.). Try to walk us through it so we can see if we can recreate what you're seeing.

I'm not sure what happened with the references. The first one should be 1.27.4, about half way through, where it says epeita taxista epuqonto, where the last word is the aorist of punqanomai.
When I hover over this word, or try to get information, it doesn't show anything. Then I tried going into both the Intermediate and the full LSJ on logos, going under Pi, and then trying to locate it.
As you can see, punqanomai isn't where it should be, between the last two entries under Pi. The same is true for the Intermediate, and for both under the heading of karta at 1.27.5..
I'm running Windows 7 on here. I haven't tried my main computer to see if the problem persists on there also. I have Logos 4.3.
πυνθάνομαι isn't parsed in that particular instance of the word in Herodotus. That's your problem.
Vincent - I've figured this out - I needed to expand out the word definitions, and lo and behold, punqanomai is there. I need the 'embarrassed' emoticon.

It's there ([:$]), but you don't need it. To get it, click on the smiley face in the formatting palate. You may have to expand or scroll through the popup box to find the one you want.

The parsing is handled by an enormous look-up table that probably lacks this exact form because it is picking up an extra accent from the following word. We can probably write some code to catch this and other instances of this phenomenon.... I'll ask around.
