Wish list for new note styles

I'm really liking the way this works so far! But there are a couple of things that would make me like it even more.

The ability to update an entire notefile to a current pallet style.
The ability to update a current note to the default style (once selected)
That the default style would be remembered between sessions.
That the note icon would be smaller and perhaps sized proportionally to the text size.
That we could choose a notefile or highlighting file as 'default' so that highlights applied with a shortcut key would automatically be assigned to that note/highlighting file.
That notefiles without a note icon in the text would display note text (if any) on hover.

Note: I love this as is and don't find the above issues to be make or break, but just really really helpful to my workflow.

EDIT: Let me add one more.

When the pallet is opened, automatically scroll it to the last location where a selection was made.

One thing I would add to this list now that we can indent a note within a file (in effect making it appear to be a subordinate or "sub-note"), is the ability to print just that note and those that are subordinate to it; or select from a list of notes in the print window (similar to the way we can select chapters and sections of other resources for printing.)

What I am noticing is that the icon stays the same size regardless of the font size.

I personally would not want the note icon to be any smaller than it is, especially now that we have options of shape and inside markings within the icon.[Y] To make it smaller would make the inside markings too small to really be of value to me.

Yes, it would be nice if it worked like the resources by re-opening to the spot we closed it at.

I wouldn't say no to this. But it made me realize that I don't think I've ever printed a note.

In some cases I probably use the notes feature more like a built-in word processor and for those I tend to print them. But I would also hope if I exported a file it would retain indentation as well.

I hope Bob P does not see this post, as I know he does like us to think about the notes tool in L4 as a word processor[;)]

Since the notes feature in this beta seems still under development, I'm assuming that the suggestions are best put here until and unless some or all of them are left unimplemented when the gold version is released.

I would also assume that some of these suggestions would be deceptively difficult to implement, and I wouldn't want Logos to spend days hours coding something that would be 'sort of nice' for me. Finishing the NIV (84 & 2011) & NLT reverse interlinears is a much higher personal priority for me, as is creating a way to do a Bible Word study on a word with it's cognates (verbal and nominal forms, plus forms with prepositional prefixes, etc.). This version of notes is already more than I expected. My suggestions are more about convenience than functionality.

Without knowing the underlying code, I can only say that they should (or should not) be easy to implement. But I can say that the reverse interlinears would be using a set of staff with a different set of skills and would not be affected.
