Now can post from Safari on the iPad
Ok ever since the iPad 1 came out posting to the forums has not been very easy. This seems to have changes with iOS 5.

I had changed my editor to "plain text" and it worked fine. Which editor are you using (located in "Site Options" in your profile).0

Steve - Philana is saying that things work ok now. Previously we had to click on the "HTML" button in the tool bar. Out of curiosity... are you saying that you changed some preferences on the website that previously (before iOS 5) allowed you to post comments more easily?

I certianly wish I'd known it was there (he said posting from his iPad in bed). Since I've had the iPad, I've not replied to a lot posts simply because, while the iPad made it easy to read posts, it was not feasible to reply (even the HTML button approach had stopped working.
I hadn't even found the Site Options: found through Edit in the top right of the page, if you are looking for it. Not only can I post from the iPad, I can also have the text at a size that is more comfortable to read and turn off the emoticons.

Hey, I'm just pleased to see I can now reply normally on my iPad. Great news. I might even get carried away and just type needless text because I can now without having to jump through hoops. [:D]
