Navigation Fails in Perseus' Photographic History of the Civil War... Volume 1
When I try to browse this resource, it initially opens to the title page. When I try to swipe beyond page 2 , it gets stuck in an endless loop on page 2 (keep swiping, nothing changes & blank screen continues)... Press menu & attempt to navigate in the front matter... Error messge: Navigation fails.
EDIT: looks like I can get beyond it, just not via swipe...
Anyone else getting this?

I lost my computers swipe-ability but on these volumes I don't see any pictures. Do you? (I was assuming maybe text was all she wrote).
EDIT: OK ... the pictures are subject based passed vols 1-2 elsewise now and then.

I haven't been able to reproduce the issue. Can you swipe through the other volumes normally? Which other forms of navigation are working for you?

Just opened the book again... on-line, not downloaded. Swipe works ok (unless the error appears), but from beginning it's stuck on page 2.
I can open the navigator (via options; tap in about the middle of the screen, an odd location), & manually I can move to the next section. It's hard to tell where I am, though, as there's a tiny title & about 5 lines of double spaced large text oriented sideways on my screen. It won't change to vertical orientation.
Hmmm.... changed to a smaller text size, & it's much better behaved after page 2. And, suddenly, i'll reorient to vertical. I'll check page 2 again. Yep. Now it'll work.
To duplicate the error, set text to extra large. We REALLY need pinch zoom!

1st attempt to open vol 3? "Could not open the online resources."
EDIT: 2nd attempt to open, successful. With large text size, it sticks on title page (2)... even small size sticks... extra small works.1st attempt to open volume 2? Successful. To see if it's the text size that's causing a problem, set text size to extra large & started swiping.... it works.
Volume 1? It still gets stuck on page 2 at text sizes large & extra large... small works.
Looks like a maybe a picture that won't fit with selected text size is what's making it stop swiping... pick a resource?

With the text display set to Extra large I am now able to reproduce the issue in Volumes 1, 5, 7, 8, and 9 of this collection. I'll report it to Development. Thank you for helping me track down the issue! [:)]
