BUG: Previous resource displays when screen touched
This is on an iPad 2 running iOS 4, latest version of the Logos app. It happens irrespective of screen orientation.
I had been reading Psalms in ESV (around Psalm 111). I used the "Back" function (left-pointing arrow in upper left) to bring up the NIGTC Revelation commentary (Beale).
Now, when I touch the screen to access the settings (# columns, etc.), the Psalms in ESV column is displayed. And it's displayed with the number of columns I had configured when I was reading it (1 vs. 2). I haven't tried killing the app and restarting it to see if that fixes it (mostly so I could see how long it would continue doing it and write this post).
I know that iOS caches screen displays to make certain switching behavior seem quicker. Not sure if it's related to that.
For what it's worth, I experience a fair number of other idiosyncrasies in the "Reading" display:
- Touching a resource in the history shown by pressing "Back" brings up the resource but doesn't dismiss that history window.
- Touching a resource in the history shown by pressing "Back" doesn't bring up the history or brings it up in the other split screen even though it's not displayed at all.
- Changing the number of columns doesn't seem to stick. It will change for the page that's being displayed, but when I advance a page, it reverts to the previous number of columns.
All of this seems to happen on any resource I might have open.
Thanks,
Donnie

Is this version 1.8.0 or 1.8.1 of the app?

This is happening to me as well. I have an iPad 1 with version 1.8.1.

Just for reference - this seems similar to the problem discussed at http://community.logos.com/forums/p/38887/291604.aspx#291604

Looks like it's 1.8.0 - thought I'd already upgraded to 1.8.1.
Note that the other idiosyncrasies I mentioned have been around since I started using the app (~6 months), to one degree or another.

I had the same issue... had to close out of all apps by clicking the close on the bar and then powered off.. when I restarted everything was fine.. Still seems to be fine after a couple of days...

This is a known issue with 1.8.0 and has been fixed in Logos 1.8.1 and Vyrso 1.0.3. If you see this happening with 1.8.1, please send your logs to iphone@logos.com.
