Is this a bug? F7 Text Comparison Not Working

I'm not sure if this is a bug with the latest beta release, or if I simply am doing something wrong.

The last time I used the F7 text comparison was on my old Windows machine about 9 months ago. When I pressed F7 in the latest beta release on my Macbook Pro nothing happened. Should I be seeing a text comparison popup, or do I have something set incorrectly on my mac, or is this a bug?

Actually... I just found my problem. I did not have the box checked in System Preferences-Keyboard "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys." Since Apple sets this to default to unchecked/off it might be helpful to add something to the help files and to the wiki regarding having your mac properly configured.

Also, I am running two displays and Logos has the text comparison open on my other display. This certainly is not ideal. I will post a separate bug report for this issue.

Since Apple sets this to default to unchecked/off it might be helpful to add something to the help files and to the wiki regarding having your mac properly configured.

Wiki Logos 4 Keyboard Shortcuts For Mac includes:

(fn)-F5	Refresh
(fn)-F7	Quick comparison of the active verse/selected text

Note: (fn) depends on Keyboard setting in System Preferences for Function Keys

It isn't mentioned on many of the references to "Text Comparison" in the wiki. The first two places I looked were here and here. There was one other place I looked, but cannot remember where, that said something like "press F7 (on Windows and Mac)." That one, I cannot seem to find at the moment.

Needless to say, when you know you are looking for text comparison it makes more sense for the user to run a search for "text comparison" than to think to look at "keyboard shortcuts."

Added to Keyboard Shortcuts section: "On Mac, if “Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard keys” in Keyboard preferences is unchecked, then (fn) key needs to be pressed with Function Key."

Likewise changed When hovering in a Bible note to: " Mac note: if “Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard keys” in Keyboard preferences is unchecked, then (fn) key needs to be pressed with F7"

Also updated Hints and Tips for Compare Versions: "Press F7 to view a selected verse or one you are hovering over in your Top Bibles. Mac note: if “Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard keys” in Keyboard preferences is unchecked, then (fn) key needs to be pressed with F7"

Looking at Logos Support web page => http://www.logos.com/mac/support/function-keys , statement:

"By default, Mac computers disable the ability to use function keys (F1, F5, F7) and this causes Logos shortcuts to stop working."

could be worded bit better:

"By default, Mac keyboards with fn key have different default usage for function keys (e.g. Screen Brightness and multi-media controls), so to use function keys (F1, F5, F7) in Logos 4 Mac, need to press fn + function key."

Likewise "To Enable Function Keys" could be replaced by "To Enable Function Keys without pressing fn"
