Bug - Performance while offline

Ipod Touch - latest version

Bible - NLT

Search set to just search one bible.

If I do a search for Nicodemus while online it is 1-2 seconds

If I do the same search with wireless off it takes 17 seconds with no way to cancel the search.

The same search in Olive tree and Accordance are done before I move my finger off the search button.

Logos is much slower than it's competitors and with wireless off, it is unusable.

    I can confirm your results. The online search is much faster because the actual search is done on our cloud servers.

    Our developers are aware of this issue and improvements to search functionality will be forthcoming.

    Aug 20 2012 results

    Logos Offline - 32 seconds (15 seconds slower than last fall)

    Accordance - < 1 second

    Olive tree - < 2 seconds

    Laridian ~ 1 second

     

    This needs to be faster. Also, just navigating the bible while offline is way too slow compared to the competition. (And even compared to thumbing through a paper bible.
