Is there any way I can transfer my Personal Books I built with Logos4 on my Mac to my iPad?

Does anybody know a way? (besides transferring the dock file, but integrating it into the iPad Logos library)

If not I think it should go on a wish list to Logos ;-))

Franz - the short answer is no. Logos does not currently sync personal books to their servers, nor do they have a way for you to manually add resources to your mobile app. Logos has said that they would like to eventually allow these files to sync, but imagine how much server space it would require! (It's not just YOUR personal books, it would be everyones!).

Thanks I understand the server space issue.

A mechanism that would allow to place those files in an ITunes "basket" like pages/office/filemagnet etc would allow a personal sync of those files via iTunes and avoid a server space/traffic jam....

Franz - I do not pretend to understand the technical aspects of what you are proposing. I wonder if there would be any problems with user added files to the mobile app, which would cause sync problems with things like notes & highlighting. If this is the case, I don't think there would be any reason for the resources to be added to the mobile app... After all, you could always add the book to your iPad as a PDF.

As I said in my earlier post, Logos is looking into the matter. I don't know, however, if this will be a "6 month" or "6 year" investigation. [:S]

Wish Logos app for iOS would allow all Logos Resources (including Personal Books) to be sync'd (or drag and drop) from Logos4 folder, which would be much faster than downloading one at a time over network.  Ideally, would like a Library filtering option so could specify a group of resources for offline iOS use.
