Should I buy Logos 4? What about the iPad app?

I got Logos 4 a little more than a year ago.  I use it every single day and cannot imagine studying, preparing sermons or Bible class material without it.  It was a great investment and I have NEVER regretted it even for a second.

I got an iPad primarily to use the free Logos app, and I have not been disappointed.  The ability to carry multiple Bible’s including my Greek text, to read them side-by-side with linked panels, the power to look up a word and do a Bible word study with a few taps (right in Bible class when nobody knows what I’m doing!), to carry BDAG and TDNT in my virtual pocket (that’s 11 fatty volumes on the bookshelf!), to read Ben Witherington’s commentary on Acts, to copy and paste, and on and on… is light years beyond what I expected when I originally bought Logos.  It would be great to have notes and highlighting (which are coming), and it would be wonderful to have functional syncing (which will be here soon), but man-o-man, what a wonderful tool.  I don’t know how to say enough good about it.

I am getting pretty good with the software and signed up to receive forum posts thinking I might be able to help others enjoy their tools as much as I have.  I cannot express how disappointed I have been that just about every comment is griping, complaining, bickering, whining, moaning and groaning about we want this… we want that… blah, blah, blah…  IT’S A FREE APP!!!

I thought it best to hold my tongue, but then I thought about my initial search for software; specifically, the effort I put into comparing BibleWorks and Logos.  If anyone happens upon this post in search of answers then here is one user/customer/preacher/grad. student who whole-heartedly, 100% recommends this product.  You will not regret it.
