I was thinking about purchasing the Expositor's Bible Commentary (12 volume set). Several of the (hardback) volumes have been updated over the last several years. Does anyone know if LOGOS will be updating them in digital format (and if they do do you think the updates will cost extra)?

No official word on this yet but i suspect they would.

The way i see it, since it would be offered as a different and independent resource, it would be priced as a new product. I do not think there would be an upgrade price if you have purchased the older edition. Most of the authors are new in the current edition and so there will be newer content; that suggests to me there would not be an upgrade price just a price for a new product.
I agree. This is a Zondervan product and we really haven't seen much, if anything, new from them since the small deluge about a year ago (for which we are grateful). This set will need to be complete before Zondervan considers releasing it to Logos. It looks like one volume is missing from the OT, so it probably will be awhile.

According to BestCommentaries, there are still two volumes missing (the revised set is 13 vols. instead of 12.)
Regardless if this ever gets an update, it's still one set that has proven invaluable to me. I sold my original print set to help pay for it and find it to be an enduring value.

it was my first "set" during college and seminary days. I used the print edition a lot, and now have it digitally. some volumes were special, others forgettable. I would like to know more about the new version. have not researched it. I hope it is at least as good as the original.
