LE?

Forgive my ignorance....what is LE refer to as it appears in the name of the product? Example: Scholar's Library: Platinum (LE). I've seen it several times along with others of which I cannot remember. Thanks...

LE distinguishes the licenses (for books) from other packages. For example the new Gold LE is different from the previous Gold package (I forget what the letters were). The LE in Platinum LE will only be relevant when the next round of base package revisions comes down the pike.

Kevin's right. Way back in the newsgroups there was a discussion where this was revealed in some degree but each different package has had different letters. We've had RA and others too.

As I recall it is the version identifier for Logos. I can't remember how they change in each upgrade but I think the first let goes back in the alphabet and the second up or something. It tells them what resources you got when you acquired the package and therefore, what you are licensed to own in the base you own. I went from Gold OC to ND to LE

Since I started using Logos, the Libronix libraries have had a two letter code following the name of the library since they change over time.
I started with RA in Libronix 2.0. Then it went to QB for Libronix 2.1. When 3.0 came out, the libraries changed to OC. About a year ago, more or less, they had a minor updated to ND (basically they added TNIV and NiRV for libraries that included NIV). And now we have gone to LE. Don't think it stands for anything - just a way to keep track.
By the way, the first Gold was OC

There was another company that once released an "ME" product, which was never regarded very highly... we decided to skip that particular combination. [:)]
