Prioritizing Greek Grammars [as they appear in CITED BY]

Is there a way to prioritize greek grammars so that they appear in CITED BY in a certain order?

My understanding is that the cited by tool uses Logos internal code for ranking search results that the basic search engine uses. I do not think it is possible to anything other than return the results "by book" or "by rank".

[I] Create Greek Grammar collections so Cited By could show results for your prioritized groupings:
"Greek Grammar # 1" could have your Top 3 resources.
"Greek Grammar # 2" could have next 3 prioritized resources.
Option: tag grammar resource(s) since mytag: groupings are usable in Cited By.

Very good idea. Maybe you could add that as a best practice on the wiki

How is this done, KEEP SMILING?
For example, are you referring the normal PRIORITIZING in MY LIBRARY?
Also, for the MY TAGS, once they are tagged [like GG#1, GG#2 etc] how are they identified in my GREEK GRAMMAR COLLECTION?
But thanks for this suggestion. I would like to make it work.

Wiki has Getting Started with Logos => Collections section with Tips and links.

No. By the way, Wiki has Getting Started with Logos => Prioritize Library section with Tips and links.

The Cited By tool can show Collections, Series, mytag: and ratings:
By default, mytag: is unchecked, so can change Cited By to show GG#1, GG#2 etc by checking them (similar to mytag:BibleGrid and mytag:Interlinear in screen shot).
For GREEK GRAMMAR collection, could include mytag:(GG#1,GG#2) in rule.

Thanks! This was very helpful. I ended up just creating a new collection with my preferred grammars in it [using mytags].

"Greek Grammar # 1" could have your Top 3 resources.
"Greek Grammar # 2" could have next 3 prioritized resources.
Note that Library Prioritization has no effect on the order of books in Cited By - it's strictly alphabetical. Also, it may show only results for one book in each collection. Therefore splitting Greek Grammar resources between 2 collections may only give results from 2 books; you may as well have 1 collection and press more... to see all results in a Search panel.

If I understand you correctly, what I have found is that renaming a resource will place it near the top IF I put a number in front of it.
This works for any Collection.
For example, for MY Lexicons: 01 BDAG, 02 L-N, 03 Liddel, etc.
Resources can be renamed in the Library panel; choosing information and clicking on the edit tool icon.

I tried what you suggested, Ron, but my resouces still are in alphabetical order in my collection [which I called Top Greek Grammars]. However when they are listed in CITED BY they seem to be in some "random" order [as far as I could determine]. Thanks for your help.

Good, Ron. It worked! I was using the numbering system on the Abbreviated Titles [instead of the actual title]. However, when they appear in CITED BY Logos must have it's own method of prioritizing - or maybe you know how they do it. Thanks again for this tip.

Yes it will! But (for me) it's not worthwhile to rename resources.

From the tab menu you can choose a method to "Sort results by ...".

Thanks, Dave. That was very helpful. I see that the panel menu gives several ways to sort the results.
