Logos 4 Crashes without being used

I have the latest service pack installed. If I move the mouse over text after it loads it crashes.

This is the first time that I have used the software in some time, it indexed after loading, I installed some book update, and bam it crashed.

Lynden I noticed by your Logos4Error.log you are running Logos 4.3 SR-3 (4.30.0.1592)

The latest stable release is SR-6 (v4.30.0.1613) if I'm not mistaken. Try updating and then test it out again!

I noticed by your Logos4Error.log you are running Logos 4.3 SR-3 (4.30.0.1592)

The Error Log is cumulative and the last entry is the crash using SR-6.

As you are using SR-6, there is no need to re-install (see my previous post).

There is a problem with your Preferences, so:-

0. Set Use Internet = NO (I want to prevent sync'ing) and close L4.

1. Rename C:\Users\Family\AppData\Local\Logos4\Documents\su45u1td.m4a\LocalUserPreferences\PreferencesManager.db

1a. Restart L4. Hopefully that fixes it, so you can skip the rest. If not fixed, restore the original file & go to Step 2.

2. Rename C:\Users\Family\AppData\Local\Logos4\Documents\su45u1td.m4a\UserPreferences\PreferencesManager.db

2a. Restart L4. That should fix it but this file contains a lot of your user settings, so you may lose some customisations.

Set Use Internet = Yes when you finish.

Indexing at 77% and guess what, it is still crashing. When it is finished, will try Dave's suggestion.

Just check it is the same crash (assuming you reinstalled?), else upload logs.

Tried the first method Dave, after several minutes of synchronization, put the cursor over the bible text and crash. The original file was 157KB, the new one never seemed to progress beyond 4KB.
