We're putting together this year's Christmas promotions and we'd like your input! Any ideas you'd like us to consider? Sorry, no discounts on Anchor Yale or NICOT.
I would like to see the complete Paul Tillich collection including all 3 volumes of his systematics and other classic hits like Theology of Culture and Dynamics of Faith. My 1950's copies are getting a bit ragged.
I bet you would have it under contract within a few days….

I would love to see Interpretation go on sale for a great price…. How about a "New Interpreter's Bible & the Dictionary Combo" for $600? That is a 50% off Pre-Pub sale. You just have to order both.

One more thing i would love to see is Daily Study Bible Old Testament brought back…..I own it already but would love to have it on my iPhone.
So sales took care of my desire to upgrade at my previous discount. Never seen a company actually read forum posts and take interest in their clientel. Excellent job guys!
Now I'm down to just wanting Systematic Theology by Grudem marked down for Christmas, some training materials at discount, and some Reformation works withing buying price Already a merry holiday for me
Spurgeon Collection, Maybe a HUGE sale on the Yale Edwards Collection that is Pre-Pub
In case you missed it, the Spurgeon Collection is in the Black Friday sale. It is only $40 more than the original prepub price.
Definitely hoping for a deal on the base packages
My contribution to this discussion was made in this earlier thread.
I would like to see a pricing structure that does not make the promotion unattractive to people who have already invested a lot of money in their library. For me, the Black Friday Sale was just not worth it since I have already a significant number of the resources.
It would be nice to see a price structure that rewards (or at least does not disadvantage) long-term Logos customers.

I did not read this entire thread so do not know if someone has already made this suggestion:
Create a "wish list" option (similar to Amazon.com) in Logos ... and then all you need to do is a little data mining on all the wish lists and you could quickly come up with some "hot spots" for Black Friday, Christmas, etc. deals ... you wouldn't need to ask anymore .... you would know what we all want for Christmas!
Another vote for:
Norman Geisler's Systematic Theology
also
The Preacher's Commentary
Wayne Grudem's Systematic Theology
I would love to see a Dead Sea Scrolls Collection that includes Dead Sea Scrolls Study Edition and the Qumran Sectarian Manuscripts. Jesus and the Dead Sea Scrolls by Charlesworth would also be nice, but I don't know if Yale would allow it to be sold separate from the AYB Reference Library.

Mine too. I wish Logos would but I'm afraid it could be a long wait. I know Tillich would approve. (Somebody go ask him. [A] )
Grasping God's Word

I understand the words, but not what you mean by them... What exactly would such a price structure look like? [:)]
Or are you really saying you'd like more books you don't already have? Thanks for clarifying...

When we were offered the 2010 Christmas Master Collection it was 2010 books for a flat $2010, regardless of how many of the titles you already owned. Nobody got a discount off the sale price because it was already so incredibly low per book. I already had 800 of those 2010 books. I did not mind paying a few cents more per pook because spreading the $1 per book price over the 1200 I did not have still saved be a huge amount of money.
The Black Friday bundles were not priced as low as the 2010 Christmas Collections; $6.25 per book compared to $1 per book. And I had 84% of the BF Master Bundle but "only" 40% of the Christmas special.
I think that is what the others are talking about. I could join in their chorus or rejoice that I had no problem resisting the sale. But if Logos offered me the deal I mentioned in the other post, I would take them up on it. [;)]
Thanks for clarifying... sounds like some kind of cafeteria schema would have the greatest chance of the least "noise" after a sale... [:P] [:D] [;)]
I got an RSS feed off the blog a week or so ago with a link to the 2011 Christmas sale page, and something about Logos Cash.
"If you spend at least $100 between December 1 and January 2, you’ll receive up to 50% of your total as Logos Cash, which you can put toward even more Bible study resources!"
When I click on the link, it goes to a "page not found," and when I click on the blog entry link, it also says the entry doesn't exist (just gives me an error page).

The promotion was supposed to start on the 1st --I was waiting to see this before buying a major new commentary set, but I had to break down and buy it already --$1200 commentary set, and no Logos Cash to be found.
What's up with this?
Russ
I did too. I suspect that they accidentally published it before they were ready and withdrew it, but it was too late for the RSS readers. I suggest when the Christmas sale does happen that you call sales and see if they can do anything for you.
hi Russ
It was announced prematurely - please see discussion at http://community.logos.com/forums/t/41596.aspx

I hope they will add to the sale IVP OT Dictionaries! It would help complement the NT vols in my library!
Another Master Collection for 2011 I would REALLY like to see this again (with different resources -- include the missing volumes from sets that were included last year -- it doesn't even have to be 2011 resources) Barth's Church Dogmatics for the prepub price of $300.
