Word lookup in esv reverse interlinear is all wrong
It's showing the wrong Greek words when I hold my finger on a word in the esv. Any ideas what's wrong? It works ok on my iPhone but not my ipad2

What verse and work are you trying to look-up?

Any word of any verse. Rather every word of every verse is somehow linked To the wrong lemma. It gives me a lemma from the surrounding passage. So far the lemma is from a word that always comes after the word I press on.

I just looked up several words in the ESV with no problems. What chapter and verses are you having trouble with?

Just realized its giving me the lemma for the word directly below the wordi hover on.

Have you tried a hard shutdown? (hold the sleep button and the main front button until you can shut it down).

Good call Alabama. It worked. The hard reboot didn't work though. Thanks guys.

I had exactly the same problem although it was on my iphone, it was driving me nuts. It would lookup a word 2-4 words away from the real word. Rebooting doesn't fix it, I agree with that. I had downloaded the ESV as an "airplane" resource so I unclicked the airplane resource and rebooted and now it seems to know where it is again. I then downloaded ESV again, and it still seems to work. Must be something with downloading the full ESV that confuses it.

This usually happens when a Bible version is updated, but you still have the old version on your iPhone. Because the RI information comes from Logos' servers (which is uptodate), it's not in sync with your local copy (which is out of date). The app should warn you about out of date resources on your Home page, and give you the opportunity to update them.
