ipad 2 word definitions
I have installed the latest version of logos for the ipad. When I tap a word and click on look-up I don't get any definitions, just the strongs number.
If I click word study definitions drop down at the top is grayed out. Do I have to do something special to get definitions to show up?
Is there any way to fix this?

I have bought a lot of books (75 resources), not a base package I don't think. I moved from the old logos system.

I have a base package but when I use the Lookup function on the iPad,I always "No information available" message, online or offline. Anyone knows why and seeing the same or differenttf

What resources do I need without buying the whole BASE package? I have pretty much all I need at this time?

Alabama -- it's not working online or offline. I just took a screen shot on the iPad. How do I attach it to the post from the iPad?

I do not know for sure, but I would guess the Minimal Crossgrade. You could call customer service during regular business hours to check for sure. Out of curiosity, what resources do you have?

Cliff - I am fairly certain at this point that you would need to obtain the minimal crossgrade that I referenced earlier. It is my understanding that it contains the tools and resources necessary for the functions you are wanting. Your best bet would be to contact customer service and see what they say.

Curious which Bible(s) want to use for look-up ?
Logos 4 changed reverse interlinear resources (compared to Libronix 3).
Looking at comparison chart => http://www.logos.com/comparison noticed Bible Study and higher packages have Reverse Interlinear Bibles.
Concur with suggestion to contact Logos Customer Service => http://www.logos.com/about/contact (could email with reference to this thread or call) since do not know if minimal crossgrade => http://www.logos.com/minimalcrossgrade has enough resources and feature licenses to enable desired definition usage.

I see your screenshot is from a commentary - do you get the same if you try and do a lookup in a Bible?

Latest iOS and latest Logos versions. It's a wifi only iPad.

Peter - I would create a new thread with "Bug:" in the subject line. You might want to reference this thread as well.
Just to make sure we are on the same page: "Lookup" is not supposed to work offline; nor is it supposed to work with non-bible resources. The problem you are having is getting "lookup" to work with Bible resources while online.
One last question: What base package do you have?

I've had the same issue and after going online I still got the error. I've had to stop and restart the app or even restart my iPad before Logos would recognize the network connection.
