Searching clippings

As I am starting to utilize clippings a lot for research, I have several "how-to" questions that I could not figure out:

Is it possible to use Boolean operators (AND, NEAR or NOT, for example) when searching withing a clipping file?
I use tags extensively, so how can I locate a clipping with BOTH "Smith" and "grace" tags?
is it possible to search for a phrase in clippings? For example "For God so loved the world" When I use a phrase in quotation marks I get nothing, even though this exact phrase is present in my clippings.
is it possible to get the search terms highlighted somehow, because if I have a page long clipping (or a note), the search brings the whole entry at the beginning and I have to hunt for the search term manually?

If you use a BASIC search on MyContent you have all the same search features as in any other basic search. As for the last item, tonight is not the night to ask me to expand ... it is an issue that I have with notes/clippings. Logos doesn't see it the way I do. But I'm sticking with Luke 18:1-8[:P]

I did not make my question clear. I am aware that I can do all of these things via "Basic Search" (Boolean operators, phrase search, etc.) but that search produces a link that takes you to the top of a clipping file, which is utterly useless, basically making a "basic search" a wasted step.

I am asking about searching within a clipping document (Ctrl+F type search). In my experience, it is implemented as "type as you go" search and does not work for a search string "Toser AND holiness" even though I have a clipping with tags "Toser" and "holiness". This is just an example. Maybe I am wrong. Can someon eshow me the light?

The Find box does not cater for search operators, including phrases.

Tozer is spelled with a Z and not an S. So unless you typed it in as "Toser" in the clipping or note, your search shouldn't work.

my bad (I should have known better), but it was misspelled in both places, so it is not the problem.

So here is the irony: Basic Search understands Boolean and phrase inputs, but cannot point to the right place (even with that "star" focus thing from L3). "Find in this resource" on the other hand, can in theory get you to the correct place, but it does not do phrases and search operators. This is the case when more is less. Why can't it just work?

It is my understanding that the "find" box is the same functionality incorporated into Windows for all programs and thus does not support any search operators. Is the information you are trying to pull up in the actual clipping or is it in a note attached to the clipping?

let me see if I understand you correctly: "Find box" is not programmed by LOGOS, but a generic WPF "lego" piece?

But it is radically different between "standard" Logos books and user created resources:

Is the information you are trying to pull up in the actual clipping or is it in a note attached to the clipping?

The information I am trying to retrieve is in actual clipping. I have not used the "Note" feature within clippings.

Ah, the way I took the question the first time gave far better news. Are you sure you want the No, No, No, No answer?[:'(] Unfortunately, that really is the answer - the lack of highlighting is a real annoyance. The current beta allows a search of MyContent so that the basic search becomes a more practical solution to the the search limitations.

That would appear to be so. A Basic Search search on My Tag (as opposed to All Text) gives results only in user documents i.e. My Content.
