Guess what! there are wish lists now in your account And you can make them public! Oh the possibilities

Uh, wait, I don't see the "Add everything I don't already own button." [:(]
The only word suitable: \/\/007!

You already have a wish list... it's call logos.com
OK - I added my first item to my wish list. Now does anyone want to buy it for me? [:D]
Now all I need is a button that will enable people to donate to my account[;)]
How do we see the public lists?
I obviously converted to Logos at the right time. Thanksgiving weekend I bought the Platinum edition, last week they up sold me to Portfolio and I have spent hours upon hours memorizing their offerings. Now I am at the 50 percent Christmas credit and can now view all my items in my Wishlist. Now to pay off Logos before my 18 month installment plan. I am giving away much of my physical library.

Not from Logos at that price [6]
Lol David, I'm still memorizing and its been over a year! [;)]
This is truly awesome. I just posted on the 'suggestions' forum that I didn't think this was ever going to happen (we've asked for it for years). A big +1 Team Logos!
Excellent ... can I be the first to suggest an improvement? [;)] [*-)]
You cannot add pre-pubs to the wish list ... many of the Baker books have no discount and therefore no incentive to jump now but I do not want to loose track of them in the future!
BTW. I am also rather enjoying the 'see inside' feature with the books that are available a single resources (not collections), e.g. http://www.logos.com/product/2964/honor-patronage-kinship-and-purity
Just click on the book's thumbnail.
Thank you Logos.
I wanted to, but you did not post your user ID and password [:D]
And now you are just to late for him to help you out
How do you make the wish list public?

Imagine a phone call or email to Logos sales would be much more effective (compared to learning opportunity for posting user ID and password on a public forum).
Also not know if Logos web site makeover has any gift card capabilities yet to be unwrapped.
Keep Smiling [:)]
Visit your wishlist page => https://www.logos.com/user/wishlists
Click "New List"
Edit your Wish List name, check "Public list", then click "Save"
Edit: after saving, can visit Logos product page, click "Add to wish list"
Can go back to your wishlist page to Edit list, which now shows resources (along with option to Delete wish list):
How do you view the public wish lists of others?
I have looked a the forum profiles ... not there ... I have looked on the site search ... my accounts section does not include an 'other's wishlist' tab.
BTW. While looking at my accounts I saw the 'Groups' tab ... how long has that been there? I have found two groups (searched for 'e') which date back to last October.

No kidding! I've looked everywhere also! Something tells me that this is not available yet. Hopefully soon though.
Hi
Groups were originally introduced to support the requirements of Proclaim (so that people could collaborate on preparing presentations) but they are intended to be used for collaboration in general.
Currently Public wishlists are visible by people within a group - within a group you can click on a group member and see their profile including public wishlist - but I don't know whether they are intended to be more widely visible.
Hope this helps
Graham
Thanks Graham it does.
I like the new preview found in some books. In time I hope all of them will have this feature.
I'm not sure, but I suspect they'll end up on the user pages: http://www.logos.com/users/tcblack
Wish Lists . . . Danger! Danger, Will Robinson!
Great added feature! [Y]

It is up and running. The giver only needs to know your user name. http://www.logos.com/users/lynden etc.. Works even if the customer does not have an account.
Still no way to purchase for someone. For now looks like you have to call in and give Logos the user name.
I'd wager this one is next. One step at a time. Implement it, make sure it doesn't break anything and then move forward. We've waited this long...
You can assign your profile URL under https://www.logos.com/user/edit
I wonder what happens if you try to assign something that someone else has already chosen. I'm afraid to try it for fear that it might screw my profile up. But someone should test this.
My thoughts Rosie. Say two new accounts and then change one to the other! hmmm.

From what I saw in the groups testing, there are test accounts active. I'd wager someone at Logos has or will test this out.
The profile URLs must be unique, so it won't let you duplicate someone else's URL.
Thanks Aaron.
As far as the development roadmap for Wish Lists, I can tell you that the next two features are:
- Allowing you to share your public wish lists with others
- Allowing you to add any product including Community Pricing & Pre-Pubs
Now about that secret roadmap you haven't told anyone about yet: you can tell me. :-)
Allowing you to share your public wish lists with others
Aaron maybe it is implied in the whole idea of a wish list, but will others be able to purchase from our wish list so it becomes a gift to us? If so, (and I hope so) how will that work if they don't have a Logos account?
I hope the Logos Sales department can utilize my wishlist for crafting personalized sales.
[:D]
Or trigger email alerts, letting me know when they are on special.

I'm imagining the possibilities for targeted advertising. Once they know what we want to buy, every page we visit on logos.com or the forums will have an ad somewhere on it enticing us to go ahead and click now and buy one of those resource. Resistance is futile.

Oh my! Is Rosie 7 of 9?
I think it's pretty safe to say that allowing you to purchase items for others is on the road map, but as you mentioned that is a much more complicated issue than providing the basic wishlists so I can't give any time-frame on that happening.
(Who am I kidding, what we are all really looking for is the ability for others to purchase items for us!)

Will there be a way to get to someone's Logos.com profile from their forum profile so we can see their wishlist? Currently the only way to see someone's profile is if you're in the same Group as them.
Also, how about providing a way to give people 50 cents or a buck of credit towards their wishlist as kudos for a helpful answer on the forums. Some sort of a Thanks or Props button (similar to clicking on the Flattr button on someone's blog, which adds up to them getting paid for their content)?

Good idea Rosie. Keep em comin.
p.s. have you seen my wishlist?
I wanted to follow-up on both David and Aaron's comments from earlier:
It is an exciting time here at Logos and we have a lot of new things in the development pipeline for Logos.com!
