Dominic, the picture is beautiful! And I'm so pleased to see they're not following the star at this stage of their journey! (I was so relieved yesterday when our children were not caught out in True or False when I said: The wise men followed the star to Jerusalem... It wasn't till a few years ago that I realised the Bible never said they did. I even heard a Christmas sermon to the effect that the slaughter of the children need not have happened if the wise men had followed the star to the end insteasd of stopping off in Jerusalem. Nice thought, except that it's based on writing things into the text of the Bible...

I wish that for all of us Christmas may be a time when we rejoice anew at the wonder of Christ's coming to us and Christ rejoices as we welcome him moredeeply into our lives.
