iPhone app as functional for me as Logos 4 for Mac...Where are my books?

The iPhone app is about as functional as Logos 4 for Mac for me. What am I missing?

I have two pages of books listed in my library (beginning w/ 1881 Wescott-Hort Greek NT and ending with Young's Literal Translation). Where are all of my books? I've heard others say they get their WBC but I don't. What am I missing?

Also, where are the Original Language word study tools? I tap and hold on a word and only get a definition, though sometimes it says not found.

Help?

Synchronization of your library with the iPhone is a feature of Logos 4 collections; did you purchase a crossgrade or upgrade?

    Bob:

Purchased the cross grade 6 months ago. (I'm a Scholar's Gold owner). I thought Mac users didn't need to purchase the update yet...since not much in our version has been updated.

James, the cross-grade is the cross-grade to Logos4. Go to http://www.logos.com/upgrade to find the upgrade to the new Logos4 library. I recommend that. The minimal crossgrade is http://www.logos.com/minimalcrossgrade

You will need to do this to get Logos4 and sync your books to your phone.

I think that was me, you heard. The first night I got books, the titles appeared but were later erased. I think everything was downloaded as I scrolled through my library and kept hitting "more." But when I clicked on certain books, I got the "can't connect error." By the next morning, those books no longer appeared. By this morning (Tues) my reading list on a book that isn't available yet, no longer appeared. I think there is a lot of syncing/screening going on.

Give this a bit of time. These guys are swamped putting out L4, Mac L4, IPhone, instructional videos, answering a gazzillion forum posts, putting out updates, keeping servers up, recording upgrades, updates, etc. etc. Once they get the next version through Apple -- Logos has no control over how long that takes -- things will improve.

We're still waiting on publisher permission to deliver many books to the iPhone. There was a very brief period when some books appeared in error. We hope to get them available soon, but it's up to the publishers.

A cross grade is where you only pay the minimum fee to get the new engine plus the new features and books that are required to use all the new fangled features of v. 4.  You get no other new books. An upgrade is where you from one collection to the same collection or higher in v. 4. The collections have a lot more books now so it is considered an upgrade.

As long as you paid for v. 4 and didn't just download the free engine, you will see your books in the iPhone app, at least the ones they have the rights to let you see at present. They have as many as 10,000 books but last I heard only about 2,000 could be read on the app. Hoping this changes soon as it is promised that they are working on it.
