Has any faithful user put together a quick list ( and could post it ) of what resources are gained by upgrading to the various Scholar Libraries in version 4?
I'll be looking later, I just wondered if someone has already taken the time.
Thanks,
Paul

Paul, I went through the list and the best is I think to look through the Compare List on the Logos.com and you can see there the sign NEW at the titles added in the version 4. I think that is the quickest way to go.
Paul, all the resources marked "new" on the upgrade page are new.

I made up a list based on my current Gold library.
New to Gold with crossgrade:
Additional with upgrade to Platinum:
Additional with Portfolio:
For what it's worth, I think that the upgrades to collections that we're offering with Logos 4 are just about the best value we've ever offered. You'll get a tremendous amount of new content for a great price. With the collection discount stacked on the upgrade discount, you're getting an incredible deal on a lot of books.
I would have to agree. Getting the Holman Reference Collection alone, in the Scholar's package, makes it a great deal.[Y]
Bob, if I buy Gold (upgrade) now, does that negate my currently discounted Platinum, should I have more money later?
i mean, I realize I can "upgrade" at anytime, but do I gett he current discount (for as long as discounts will be offered), or is it "upgrade once at discount but the next upgrade will be the regular upgrade amount?"
Daniel,
I upgraded to Platinum this morning. If I go back to the upgrade page it presents me with the same Portfolio upgrade option I had before, and it's at the same price.
Is that what you're looking for?
Andrew

Is this product actually available now in L4? I thought it was still in prepub status.
Yes it it. A number of 'pre-pubs' jumped right out of pre-pub into the new collections.
I have all of these resources in my Platinum Library. They gave us a nice surprise :-)

I had that on prepub and have been delaying making the upgrade. That's a good reason to upgrade now. I had it on prepub at $139.
What were the other prepubs that made the jump?

Will these be removed from our prepub orders by LOGOS, or do we need to do this manually?

None of mine did. That I know for sure. I think there may have been some other Broadman and Holman titles. I know a few folks were pleasantly surprised by these unexpected additions.
AKAIK that was to have been done by Logos. They planned to just take those titles completely off the pre-pub listing. However you should check and do it manually if somehow it wasn't.
The downside seems to be that Logos wasn't quite sure it would honor pre-pub pricing for those who don't upgrade and automatically get the titles. They might have to buy them at normal price. Don't know if that one has been worked out yet.
I cross graded Gold to Gold and the Platinum upgrade looks like it was reduces by about what I paid. I can't say exactly, because I wasn't looking for it when I did it. But before it was somewhere in the mid to lower 400s and after the 170 dollar upgrade, the new price is 263. So I think it was dollar for dollar. But I really don't know about the portfolio. It was not even a consideration.
