Reference tagging problem in "The Lord from Heaven"
On page 60 of "The Lord from Heaven: A study of the New Testament teaching on the deity and humanity of Jesus Christ" there is a link to Deuteronomy 18:15f
When accessing it on my desktop system (Windows laptop) this link works correctly.
When accessing it from my iPad it links to the previous verse as per the screenshot below:
Any ideas as to why this is shown correctly on the laptop and not on the iPad?
(It seems to link correctly on Android)
Graham
EDIT: It seems to be related to references having "f" or "ff" at the end - I have found a number of others in this resource which act in the same way.

I came across this problem again today - with references having "ff" at the end resulting in the previous verse being shown.
Any news on a fix for this?
Thanks, Graham

I experienced this problem again a few days ago.
The reason I find it annoying is that the popup feature becomes useless for these types of references as when you press on the reference you get the wrong one. This means that to see the correct reference you need to open the resource which takes away from the flow of reading.
- Does anyone else see this and find it to be a problem?
- Can someone from Logos comment on whether this is going to be addressed any time soon?
Thanks, Graham
EDIT: Incidentally, the Android app doesn't have this problem - it generates the popup to the correct verse. So this suggests a couple of things:
- This is at least one area where the Android app is ahead of the iOS one!
- If the correct reading exists in the Android app I wouldn't have thought it too difficult to fix in the iOS app!

Graham - I expect that you have already tried this, but if the resource is downloaded, have you tried deleting it and redownloading?
Graham,
I have been unable to reproduce this issue whether or not the resource is downloaded. Note however that the resource was updated on 2011-10-14 so you might try alabama's suggestion and let us know what happens. Thanks!

Hi Alabama and Kevin
Thanks for the responses.
The particular resource I mentioned "The Lord from Heaven" isn't downloaded on my device. When I look at the date on the resource I am accessing it matches the one Kevin references above.
However, I flagged this again because I saw the same issue in another resource (but I can't remember which one at the moment!) So I assumed that it was a general problem and not a resource one - resulting in the complaining tone of my earlier post for which I apologise.
Looking through some other resources I see it works correctly so it looks as though it is an intermittent problem, most likely related to resource tagging. But then I don't understand why the same reference in the original resource works fine on Android.
So I am a little confused - any insights appreciated.
Graham

Hi
I came across this problem again recently - this time in "The Christian Faith" by Michael Horton - page 539.
The popup shows the problem with the reference in Isaiah but there are three "ff" references in the indented paragraph that all show the same behaviour.
Hope this helps to track down the problem

Came across this again in another resource - as below:
Any news on this?
Thanks Graham,
Looks like a more general problem - I've updated the case information. We haven't gotten around to a fix yet but it's in the pipeline.
